AvaLynn returns to her body in the Real Realm. A fateful decision, but one of absolute necessity. AvaLynn had no choice but to return to keep her body there from dying. It couldn't have come at a worse time, however, as AvaLynn and Dean, along with Dean's extended family of werewolves, enlist the help of witches, spirits and mediums to destroy Zavier.

˜* * * ˜ ˜

Bound in a prison of spells and wards, Zavier was trapped, but far from helpless. While AvaLynn and friends plot his demise, he slowly works his evil magic in AvaLynn's mind, planting doubt, hallucinations and torturous visions that keep her constantly doubting herself. Filled with rage against Zavier for constantly attacking her family and friends, AvaLynn taps into previously unknown abilities to cast spells. Tentative at first, AvaLynn grows more bold and more powerful with the help of Maddie, her birth mother and a powerful witch in her own right, and her grandmother, Evangeline.

˜ * * *

Enter a host of spirits, a pack of werewolves, a coven of witches and a pair of empathic mediums to stand with AvaLynn at the final siege against Zavier. As AvaLynn discovers, living the dream comes with its own pitfalls—and blessings. Would their combined power be enough to conquer Zavier? Or would their survival rest on the unknown abilities of a cherubic pair of mimics?

Three nights in a row, now; the same strange dreams. At least I thought they were at the time. Unnatural creatures in the woods, a spirit who lives in the lake and the really odd blending of dreams with reality. I think I'm losing my mind…

* * *

Living in the beautiful Pacific Northwest, AvaLynn has everything she thought she wanted. She owns a successful art gallery and lives in a lakeside house. Having lost her parents a few years before, AvaLynn considers her closest friends her family now.

But everything changes when she starts seeing and hearing inexplicable things at the lake. She thought they were dreams, but physical evidence is mounting that proves they are real. She’s not sure who she can turn to. Will her friends believe her? And what about the mysterious and handsome Luke who just came into her life? Is he the source behind these strange occurrences? Or is he her savior?

AvaLynn soon discovers that life in the Dream Realm is equally as complicated, if not more so, than the real world. The realm overlay becomes so natural as she seamlessly moves between the two, she begins to wonder which is actually real. Or is it possible they're both real?

Facing a fate worse than death, AvaLynn floats in an extended coma, unable to communicate with the outside world. The only relief from the isolation is that she is alive and well—and healthy—in the Dream Realm.

˜* * * ˜ ˜

Forced to leave Luke, Tannah and Cayden behind, AvaLynn’s body lies motionless in the Real Realm while she flounders in a sea of uncertainty in the Dream Realm. Dean and his extended family are both a blessing and a curse for AvaLynn. On one hand, they stand with her to battle Zavier, an evil spirit responsible for AvaLynn’s comatose state in the Real Realm. On the other, the love and acceptance that Dean’s family extends triggers guilt and conflicting feelings, eventually forcing AvaLynn to make the most difficult decision of her life. . .

˜ * * *

. . .do everything possible to return to her friends in the Real Realm, or leave them all behind and remain with Dean, making this life her Dream Reality?
